Watertown, Connecticut, USA. Cornstalks, yet to be cut, trees changing colors, hills in the distance. It is autumn in Connecticut. As I post this, the winds of Sandy are gaining strength here. While we will miss the brunt of the storm, it is likely that electrical power will be lost in my home area. If East Coast posts are few and comments absent… . Enjoy!

Looks like the scarecrow has hit the road already. Beautiful fall shot, Thad. It's about time for the International Harvester to make a few passes there.

Sure is Autumn in CT. I love that sky and the golden stalks set against the wonderful Autumn oranges. There's no place quite like New England.

This is a typical fall scene here in the midwest as well except the cornfield may be bigger - we are being buffeted by 30 - 40 mph winds now here in Chicago so I'm sure you are in for a rough time.

This reminds me of the corn fields around here Thad. You got a lot of fall in this shot. Colors are vibrant.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

So popcorn and a movie or storytelling if the power goes out at your place until this Sandy thing blows over.
Good colours and lighting in the scene Thad.
