Thad, in the the narrative of this posting I've written that a narrow FL will result in a very shallow DOF. Probably well known matter to you. The result is relative much bokeh. You have your bokeh on the foreground. I would have preferred, by adjusting the FL somewhat, to have it on the background, but that's just a matter of taste. It's anyhow a very nice image to me. The deep tones are wonderful!

My dianthus have completely disappeared from my garden, with just little stubs left, and I've not found the varmint that ate them! Love the colors of your image.
