Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. The Capitol Building, reconstructed from extensive research in 1934, was originally built in 1705, when the capital was moved from Jamestown to Williamsburg, and was destroyed by fire in 1747, replaced by another one until 1779 when the capital was relocated to Richmond, (still housed in a building designed by Thomas Jefferson). The first Williamsburg Capitol Building is an H-shaped building that housed the House of Burgesses and the Council.

Now THAT'S a handsome clock tower. The deep blue sky brings out its beauty even more. Well done, Thad.

Great perspective and the stark contrast of the white and blue really makes this image grab my attention Thad.

I wish the wind had been blowing so I could admire the flag along with the rest of the photo Thad.
Perfectly composed and colors are so vivid.

You must have had a very calm day with little or no wind as I noticed the flag is at rest. Beautiful detail on the spire from top to bottom & the blue sky sets everything off. Wonderful capture, Thad.
