I like how the lavender and white is supported left and right with the green. The colors contrasts nicely and form an artistic triangle.

Thad, when taking a picture of a lupine, the vertical format mostly is best suited, unless it is snapped by a storm, lol.
Happily the latter didn't happen, so that you have provided us with a wonderful one. For the rest of my comment: I like to join in with Raj's one.

I really like these lovely blooms, and you did a super job on the color, and detail. If I may suggest something-I would have tried to clone out the whitish object on the upper right so it does not distract from the beautiful bloom. tigs=^..^=

A beautiful lupine Thad nice sharp detail. I do agree with Sandi's comment about the white in the upper right. Since you were at a garden center that is always a hazard, I can speak from experience.
