Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. Having this plant for many years, it bloomed at the oddest times of the year. Finally, it bloomed at Christmas! (100mm Macro lens, ISO 1000, f/4, 1/40, -.3 EV, natural lighting.)

I like this shot of your Every Once In A While Christmas Cactus, Thad.
Perhaps it has been going to Arizona for the winter in the past.

Gorgeous close up and those colours are beautiful. Did you know there are different type of these plants that bloom at different times of the year. Ours bloomed at Easter.
