Everglades National Park, Florida, USA. Farther up the Turner River, this heron had the lead through a narrow, low run of red mangrove trees. My wife was my spotter, telling me when I was about to get knocked by one of the hanging roots while I was shooting photos. The river was about a foot deep, a brackish mix of fresh and salt water. Stay low!

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Makes note of the new Everglades game, Duck Duck Heron.

What a great photo, ribboned with all those crazy branches and reflections.

Another great 'action shot' taken on your 'adventure trip', Thad.
Think your wife has done a perfect 'piloting job', my friend, ☺ .
