Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Atop the bluffs over Herring Brook Beach, this flowering shrub was showing Friday Foofies. If I only knew what kind of shrub it was.

Looks to me like a type of viburnum - they bloom around this time and although there are many many types this looks like some I've seen - great capture Thad.

Although your F² contribution is a good one, it's pretty hard to determine the species of this flowering shrub only by a detailed photograph like this one, Thad.
Kathy could be right, but the branches did me doubt somewhat.
Could be a species of the Spirea or Rhododendron as well.
I'm curious whether one of the Caedes can provide us with an other option.

It looks so delicate to be risking its life hanging onto a bluff Thad.
Great FF foto.
