An image after my own foofaholic heart.
I love the intimacy of it and, yes, the narrow DOF. My hair-thin DOFs often get dinged, but it's how I actually see (eye probs), and I like the whispery, secretive way of it and how it guides the eye to the particular, precise, and scarce detail in focus.
Yours is an elegant execution of the technique.

I like the pollen scattered here and there on the petals.. Good macro. DOF's are tricky and very much a personal preference, I think.
