Fine view from Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado. November is one of the two snowiest months in Colorado and sadly this photo is too green for November 24... Not the greatest image but I thought I'd put it up any way.. ~Mary~ EDIT: View is to Berthold Pass

Your image is just lovely Mary. Nice colors, textures and we get to see some snow too. Makes for a pleasant variety of things to look it in your lovely image. Hope you enjoyed your visit and trip. I remember several years ago coming back from Nebraska on I-80 just after Thanksgiving and I had the sunroof open! Lol! Sandi♥

It's so interesting to see the evergreens on one hill and the brown on the other and I love the mountains any time of year!

(...... I thought I'd put it up any way......)

I am glad you did, Mary!, it is a wonderful view the snow, in the mountains!
Special for the Dutch, because 'The Netherlands' is almost a
flat country!
Thanks, Mary!

Mary, I agree with the above comment of John. Holland is not mainly a flat country but, because of the sea climate, snow in Holland is rare too. Think those two elements make your photograph very nice to us, the more you've made a beautiful composition of them. Well done.

You were certainly at a fine vantage point for this one, Mary. Colorado is such a beautiful spot, and you have a touch of just about everything fall and winter here. Well done, my friend.

I cannot imagine how wonderful it would be,

Ah, Golden, Colorado. Where the best pocket knives in the world are made. Spyderco. ^_^

I like two different types in the picture, one side is dark and snowy and the other side is sunny and grassy. Wonderful capture! ^_^ I really must visit there sometime.
