Once long ago....before my very first Caedes temper tantrum where I deleted my entire gallery, I had this birdie in my gallery. It was grainy then....{ thanks for teaching me neat image, Kiefer!} and I also used a tacky snowy border...so now, here is the birdie again...neatened and no snowy border. :)

One of the best looking birds I've seen at Caedes. That odd little face emerging from the whiteness . . . those delicate feathers . . . really beautiful, Terri.

what a beautiful bird

youve managed to retain so much of the detail in a seriously difficult shot to expose

but as a word of advice since there are still areas on its wings for instance that are totally blown out ... with a subject like this UNDER EXPOSE AND BRACKET! (1,2 3 and maybe even 4 stops) your meter will be influenced by the rest of the field but the bird is almost pure white and youre interested in the finest detail in the bird rather than anything in the rest of the scene

never the less ... still a breathaking shot
elegant and rare
straight into my faves :)

He's so pretty and he looks well groomed. Couldn't tell that if this wasn't such a great shot. I don't remember the first one, but never mind, this is what evolved from it and it's terrific!

oh wow Terri! that is one incredible shot - what an amazing bird - I have never seen one like it ever before - so snowy white, looks like it has just been through the wash!! lol! and I did not see your first one or I would have remembered it! However, this one is crispy clear and I cannot see any speckles so whatever Keifer helped you do, it has created a perfect image! just lovely and on my desktop!

ps when I saw the small image my eyes just widened like they do when you see something spectacular - just thought I would mention that. :)
