I really like this one...and to me it is more than a simple texture study. Each side can stand alone and yet together they form part of a whole (perhaps because I've seen a lot of seawater and seaweed and so the aspect is very familiar). The green variations of the water are endlessly absorbing and, in a completely different way, the viewer can get lost in the intricacies of the seaweed. Great two-for-the-price-of-one shot!

Tough shot to pull off mate. Love the palette and the dramatic contrast between water texture and seaweed texture. The angle is great too. If you had more water to play with I'd move to the left, get rid of the out of focus seaweed on the right foreground, but the fifty fifty composition is powerful too.
