This is a picture of the Grand Harbour in Malta taken last Christmas. Some modern buildings which were marring the view have been cloned out and the picture given a bit of a 'painting' effect.

Magnificent job. It's like approaching a fortress in ancient Greek times in a fantasy adventure.

Lovely shot Joe - I too would like to see a closer view of the buildings, the colour of the stone looks lovely. Have to be honest and say I'm not 100% sure about the paint effect, but it doesn't detract from what is a very beautiful view.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

Hi Joe ... Superb capture of the yellow brick and terrific skyline ... I remember that wonderful warmth as we sat outside a little cafe in Floriana drinking your very own Antonin Blanc and watching the world go by ... Thank you for sharing Colin

Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped as Gods. Cats have never forgotten this.
