While the roses are aging, somehow I felt that the beautiful, beautiful out-doors would compensate. It is an old photo I have been tempted to post for a long time.
"In my mind's eye, I visualize how a particular... sight and feeling will appear on a print. If it excites me, there is a good chance it will make a good photograph. It is an intuitive sense, an ability that comes from a lot of practice."
Ansel Adams
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
I'm glad you did! It's still dark this Saturday morning, but your photo makes me anticipate the day and perhaps the luck to see, even photograph, something as beautiful. As always, thanks...
"Once you have heard the lark, known the swish of feet through hill-top grass and smelt the earth made ready for the seed, you are never again going to be fully happy about the cities and towns that man carries like a crippling weight upon his back."
- Gwyn Thomas
I'm so glad you decided to post it. Wow...this is just too pretty not to share. Excellent work. God sure has blessed you with some gorgeous flowers. :) 10/10 favs and a new desktop for me.
I love your flower shots. And I use them in a mail or powerpoint for wishing friends a happy and healhty day. If you don't like it tell me. I never use them as shots I made.
