I'm the first!! woohooo!! I think this is such a lovely idea Marilyn!! I would not have thought of combining the gorgeous Fall colours with any flowers....I think I'll have to use your idea before all the flowers around here are gone...but these roses are beautiful with the leaves...I love this sooooo much! Good idea and awesome photo...one of my favorites of yurs!!! I think too being able to see the basket is wonderful!! You might try fixing a "posey"( small bouquet) of delicate rose buds or other flowers and lay them on the leafy basket..what a sweet idea you had here!!!

As Verena mentioned, a really original idea with the flowers and autumn leaves mixed, I think it would be a lot stronger if you crop in to eliminate the grass. Maybe show a bit more of the basket. Great idea, Marilyn!

What a great idea Marilyn! I love it. I might have used the roses as my focal point rather than the leaves since the roses are drop dead gorgeous. I agree that maybe showing more basket & less grass would make this image even more unique. You have such a gret sense of taste & color. I am envious! Good composition my friend :~)

Hi Marilyn. I have viewed both of your basket images and believe I prefer this one. ;) I feel it's soft colors, closer in view, and layout of your three roses to be more my style only. I would have probably preferred a little more room given to that third rose on the right but I love the basket, leaf, rose combo. Very pretty.

I like both of your basket images, there is more colour variance in the other one yet this shot maybe shades the other with its red leaves and three roses - the addition of the basket in both images is wondeful, housing both autumn colours with flowers. Another favs...and onto my desktop!!

I love this one, (of course all your images), but this one, just give a peace and joy in the heart, I ike a lot the framing and the composition of the roses, while the light on sun is falling on them...this is poetry on it....mean more than words....I love it.
