How pretty.. Love what was done to this lovely rose..

Hi Marilyn, very pretty...looks like a water color.

Your original picture of that single rose is just great, no question. But this manipulation makes it somehow very special and gives the viewer different ways of interpretation. The slightly faded colors and the texture of this image bring out how fragile the bauty of this rose actually is. For me it looks like the leafs of the rose were frozen and could easily break when you touch them to hard or not cautiously enough. But it could also mean that our memories are slowly fading like the colors of this beautiful rose. We will never forget how beautiful this rose was even though we cannot remember exactly anymore how intense and vibrant the red color of her leafs actually was. We tend to see more with our hearts than with our eyes the more time has passed. A very subtle message is in this picture and I really like what Brix has done on your original image.
