Hi everyone, this is a second shot of the once frozen rose, 'A Pink Pearl'! Frozen for ten days, I might add! I took this one later in the day, hence, a different color indeed! Please view with full screen, thank you! Marilyn

Wow, What a beautiful flower Marilyn. The colors are bold....yet, not. Just the perfect middle for a flower! Wonderful capture! The only thing, i would have backed up a bit to fit in more of the flower. But its still beautiful!!!!

You did it again, Marilyn... How do you make it that your pictures are such powerful and energetic but also very decent and elegant at the same time. That's what makes them very special and from such a superb quality. I really love this shot, high marks from me...

Tell me my lady, how can it be that this tangerine makes me shiver and makes my blood boil at the same time? This is too much for my tangled mind!

A rose from your camera lens??? Whatever will you surprise us with next Marilyn ? hehe :=)
I love the way you captured the texture of the rose petals in this image. I also like the way the petals are tipped in a darker, deeper color. It sure gives your wondrous image a lot of depth~the snow and frost are a magical touch. Well done my friend :~)

Lovely image. Soon those flowers won't have to play in the snow. Soon they will dance in the warm sunshine. Great job.

Hello Marilyn....So beautiful....I like the way you get so close to your subject and to me that is very important..... The viewer can learn a lot about how to visualize your subject by exploring it in its tiniest details..... Shown here is an extreme closeup of a bloom in its full glory photographed by the master herself....The exquisite details glow in the heart of that bloom. The minds eye can almost conjure the fragrance because one feels so close to the rose......Well done.....All the best...Mick.
