OK friends, I promise, just one more photogenic mushroom, and back to the 'flower garden' I go! This has been fun though! I use an entierly different approach when photographying mushrooms, as they present to us a very different subject, then do flowers! I have found them to be very interesting after seeing them posted quite often on Caedes and beautifully so! Please don't chase me out of the woods yet, OK? Thanks, LOL! Marilyn

I've really loved this mushroom series you've done! You've really captured it in a great way that makes it not only beautiful, but interesting!

The rippled edges look like ladies dresses fanning out as they swirl & twirl. A very pretty & unusual looking mushroom to me, I think it's terrific & hope you stay in the woods a little bit more !

Great job Marilyn! Mushrooms are actually the blooming fruit of the actual Fungi. So they are similar to Flowers, lol. Don't stop cause there are alot of us Fungi fans out there!

Do they really have fungi like that in Michigan? Nothing so colourful around here, and we are much the same climate. I must be looking in all the wrong places LOL

These are quite enjoyable to view. I think they are the tree fungi, but I am so far from being an expert. I think you are becoming an expert at photographing then for us though. Good work. Hope you have had lot;s of fun in your walk in the woods. Thanks for sharing all this new beauty with us :~)

I never knew mushrooms were so photogenic until I come to Caedes! I can't wait to find some of my own to photograph. Nice picture, Marilyn. And, I can't wait to see more of anything you capture with the camera.

Isn't it a fantastic time of year when these pop up! The pattern in the fungi is beautiful, and you have framed and composed the shot well. I have seen at least 15 different types of fungi in just the last week. I too will get some photos once the weather improves!
