I endulged in irises today and what a time I had! The rain had ended and the lighting was perfect, so I went to work, after my morning run, and this is one of the shots I took! I haven't been too happy lately with my recent postings, but I think this one is a keeper! What do you think? A multicolored Iris with the help of Photoshop of course! Wink, wink! Simply gorgeous. Clear crisp and if i were in this garden right now. I'd snip it and put it in a beautiful carnival glass vase and admire it for many days. Nicely done Tracey

Well hello there girlfriend! I would say this is a keeper, a great big one for sure!! I love what you did with Photoshop. The colors are absolutely stunning! Isn't it amazing that we have all these tools at our fingertips to make and or create and or enhance images for others to enjoy? Your photography was pretty doggone good in this shot and I like everything there is about it except that I didn't do it !!! hehe
I am going to use this as my desktop Marilyn. It will remind me of nice weather (our rain has not stopped!!) plus it will remind me of you and Spring all kinds of other pleasant things!
I will also store in on my new hard drive that I got for my birthday and run it in my screensaver slideshow. Thank you for sharing it with us :~)

Irises are hard to photograph in a pleasing way. The petals go in all directions. You have done a wonderful job of showing the beauty of this flower. Very nice image.

Marilyn I wonder what the colour of the iris truly was. Yellow? I like what you did, you always have such fun trying things out. True artists find that kind of thing very special.
