"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
What I find fascinating here is the hotel building. So stylish !!! Would love to see more and closer and perhaps in a better weather ... PLEASE !!!
Thanks for sharing and congratulations, dear friend.
I love those old signs. Where i live in Bath there are loads of those old signs. I think with the image it would have benefited from more architeture and a little less sky but the composition is great!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
both versions are nice, but i like the original better. true, it had the street light in it, but i think i preferred the darker deeper feel. if i could request one thing...perhaps a wider shot next time, so we could see more of this scene especially street level. in any event, this was a nice post. thanks for sharing. :o)
