A slug on inspection in the forest. Not the most photogenic photo model, but at least slow enough to take a quick picture.

It's actually quite a good capture of one of nature's uglies. I have found a few in my back yard but of only a poo brown. This red fellah is much more pleasing to the eye. The head is in perfect focus, giving us a great view of the head, but just a hair more DOF, Katrin, and you would have gotten the caboose of the beastie as sharp as the engine. Just a thought.
