yeah wicked.....theres sum lush greenery growing on those surfaces. but its got a touch of eerieness to it too. goos follow up to the warped forest pic u did : )
yeah !! that's what I was going to say Pierre!^^ lol. I tell you, Darryl lives near Fangorn and he don't want to admit it! loool. But I forgive him, because he share these great shots with us^___^. good job Darryl!^^
Wonderful detail and beautiful light - I love the way those branches stand out from the background. Another great shot to add to your collection, Darryl :-)
its a great image like everyone else said.. and i couldnt help having a giggle at the placement in the new galleries... it's directly above another image'snow in the sun' by usernameid10, of ascending tree trunks.. but contrastingly opposed in thier backgrounds....well just thought id point out the obvious.. im sure others spotted it :D
It is the branches that give it an erie look. It looks like outstretched arms with claw like hands. What is interesting is that it seems as if they are all reaching the same direction.
Missed this one until it flashed on my screen. Not that it needs my help or anything, but just thought I'd holler at you from somewhere deep in this image and echo back everyone else's comments. You know how I am about up through the tree shots. ;) I'm lost in there somewhere and it's another fav.!
This is a creepy image here. Very, very nice. 10/10 from me on this one Darryl. Saved in my fav's again. Keep up the nice work! Always glad to see your images.
I love the Pacific Northwest, US or Canadian. The Rain Forrests are absolutely astounding, as is your image. Very good eye to SEE the image. 10 x10 and in my favs.

Darryl, what a fascinating forest!...looks like something out of "The Brothers Grimm"...straight to my favs and top marks...bravo on the great photography.:Pat.
Beautiful shot - love the lighting and all the shades of blue and green. I agree that it appears a little eerie, although that's not always a bad thing! (Reminds me of the *apple throwing* trees in the Wizard of Oz!!.) High marks from me
Thanks for sharing!
