Went for a drive a few weekends ago and grabbed this shot. If anyone is familiar with Maine, this is on the road between Caratunk and Jackman. Quintessential Maine wilderness in late March.
Those mountains are going to be there, looking just as serene, after we all are long gone, won't they. Great "timelessness" shot, putting me in my place so gently! From the thumbnail, I didn't like the stand of deciduous trees in the middle range, but from the full screen I can see how nicely they contrast with the parallel snow in color and texture.
