This is quite dramatic, and well framed with adequate depth.
For me, the tinge of Blue sky in a few places is a distraction, and converting to full Grayscale and a touch more contrast for the shadows, adds to the drama.
Regardless, very well done.

I agree that grayscale would work better. There is plenty of dramatic texture in this image and it would also aid the blue edges on some of the branches. Love the framing; it really adds to the picture.

this has potential because the subject is so interesting! but this picture is too busy, my eye does not know where to look. did you take any shots of this, or have you tried cropping it differently?
