If it is a commentary of political nature then I get it. lol
I will admit to a long history of cleaning fish with my grandfather that I never did quite get used to.
Always loved the end result with potato flake encrusted fillets fried in oil to a crispy brown.
A good reminder of where our food comes from and the respect we owe mother nature for providing us with such tasty morsels.

Steve,

I'm not much into sushi, but if you fry them up count me in.
Awsome photo.

Now, who gets the job of filleting them? They look like sunfish to me, which means great eating...but only if they're fried in a cast iron skillet with some cornmeal..mmmmm...can taste it now :)

Yeah, it's too real for me! Eric posts raw lamb chops and now this! lol The shot is good, but I can't look at it for long with the heads still on.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I like my fish without heads/tails and covered in breadcrumbs, so it doesn't remind me of a fish. But this is a real wake up call...excellent detail, and a great artistic eye to create the image in the way it is presented...round yours for tea later...Jacquie

I kinda like this. Takes one out of the shops and into nature.. where it all begins! Lovely colours, but would have prefered it without the knives. Still think you did good on this one. And gutsy to post it. Thanks
