Oops. The other pic is the Mockingbird and this one has the light shining into his eye. Both are great pics, well done, and look like they were shot in the same piece of foliage.

Nice shot, but not as good as your other bird photos. In this one, the twigs interfere with the view. However, I realize birds are not good about taking directions from the photographer!

Ownership of land is, at best, a useful human fiction.
I agree with Buce /\, although I think it may be the optical illusion played by the DOF which causes the twigs in the foreground to be blurred heavily. Speaking only for myself, I expect to see the blurring in the backdrop and it distacts and puzzles my eye. All in all, a nice capture.
