This is a clear and dramatic shot...very nice! I had to go look up Orton to see what was going on...and now that I know just a tiny bit about it, I can see that you did a ton of work to get this image to this point. You now have art, a step different (above? below?) the kind of picture that goes into a bird-watching manual.

I too had to look up the Orton effect. It must have been difficult with a bird. U have created a very good image. Great work!

Can you paint with all the colors of the wind.
An excellent image; it certainly represents a lot of post-capture sweat on your part.

Dennis, it wasn't manipulated. it is as it came out of the camera except cropping and sharpening.
