Interesting shot. I think it is a bit over exposed. It seems to be 'draining' all the color out of the shot. I'm not a photographer but there are some here who are very good - and helpful :) I hope you get the feedback you desire here :)

nice photo. looks like it was a pretty big snake.

You will get: Nice to see such an object, but it is to bright. There are some parts with only pure white. The color of the picture does'nt exist. If you got such a picture from your camera, make a BW one. You need more sharpness on your object too. The angel of your picture isn't profitable.
Next try to get such a shot with white balance on "Shadow". This will make more warm colors.
Sometimes it is also better to upload the image in a higher resolution (i hope, it was not a handy shot).
Use the manual setting of your camera and read the operating instructions before. There are sometimes many helpful hints.
Keep on trying.
