A reflection of Vamoura's gentle spirit. She was a very talented fractalist here on caedes.net. She has not posted anything here since 3/07.She last visited the site in late September. This is in her memory as we were notified of her untimely passing at age 44 on Oct. 5, 2007.

I read about it on DigiCamMan's profile and was stunned and very sad about it. To die so young...She was an incredible fractalist; I have some of her work in my files. It's a fitting tribute that you did Mimi for this wonderful artist. I'll miss her much. :(

Your flower, like an upside down flag, shows your sorrow in her passing. What a beautiful tribute for Marou, she was so very talented. She touched many with the beauty she created. I'm really saddened to hear of her passing. But, the spirit of her work will endure.

Mimi I had no idea! A wonderful tribute to a gentle and wonderful soul! May her family be filled with peace knowing that she is in a wonderful place now! She will be missed by many and her talent will go on to be known by many! I notice that she had a few other sites with her art posted, I sure hope that her friends there are aware of what has happened?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Dear Mimi....

My what a lovely photographic depiction of such sad news...I never knew her but through Nathan's link...I had the privlege of viewing her work....my her artistry was magnificent...

I share in your sorrow Mimi...of her loss...and join with the others who knew and loved her so deeply...and ...at such a 'tender age of 'forty four'...how sad...

I would like to echo the words of Steven before me...who spoke of 'her entrance to the 'pearly gates'....it brings much comfort to those left behind to be certain....of where their friend is resting... resting in 'peace'...smiling tenderly....and with sympathy....

I have read wonderfully and endearing.. words written of her....she surely had some marvelous friends...dedicated friends...because of this...she died a very 'wealthy' woman.....

A sweet and loving tribut to her Mimi...and again...your photo tells it's story...the position of the flower....suggests to me how life takes it's turns...like the flower...from seeking the sun...to another place...far removed...and distanced from everything we know...into a place of total and sublime happiness...
