I took this outside of the Experience Music Project in Seattle. These were about 10' high, sticking straight out of the sidewalk. I loved it's varying tones. Also, note the clear sky. For some city rumored to rain all the time, it was very beautiful out. Unfortunately, they don't make any sound. I'm not entirely sure what they are made of, but maybe steel. I didn't really touch them too much. I have bad luck with making things break. As far as practical value, no. And, i named this one random art, more because this city is filled with the most beautiful things in odd places. I love Seattle.

I like that... it seems very organic somehow. I like the way you've captured it here also, nice perspecitve.

Interesting post. I wonder if they have any practical value. Probably not, but they do make for a great shot.

Yes, my curiosity is peaked too! What are they made of and do they make sounds?
I agree - that's a beautiful Seattle sky! Very good colors together and just a nice design overall!
