While driving through mountain pass tunnels up in the Alps, I stopped and got out of my car to grab a few "quick" snaps. I mirrored this one in Smart Photo Editor. Something different from me.

I like the lighting and shadows in your tunnel shot, Doug...good to see you weren't exactly holding up traffic while you hopped out to snap this one...the mirror effect works very well with this image.

I would stop in the middle of a busy motorway, if it got me a good shot!..so, why should you be different eh!...☺

Excellent work here..a true dedication to a traffic pile up!...

Stopped in the tunnel to take photos! The result is very good Doug. It does look like twin tunnels. I would have even put lines across in the triangular area to make it look more authentic :) Vey nice work.

Think you are lucky Doug. As far as I know, after some serious fires and accidents (almost all of the?) the Alp tunnels got TV-cameras for safety measures. If in this tunnel this equipment is mounted, performing such an act could have cost you 'some' money. Think however that, in this case, the person in charge in the control room wasn't alert enough. The result however is a pretty rare and good image, worth to take the risk (!), lol.

Regards, Cornelius.

That is a very unique image, and very well done. I wouldn't have the nerve to get out of my car in a tunnel...if I didn't get run over, I would probably get arrested!
