A while ago when we got home from town, this lil bugga came to greet us at the front door. A young spotted grass snake, about 1m long. He went up into the yukka at the frontdoor and we struggled about 30 minutes to get him out of there and away from the house. Aint he lovely?

I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends. Sincerely, Carrie

Oooo! Snakes give me the willies, but you got right in there with your camera and got a shot of the little green rascal. It is an unusual shot. Good going! Cindy

This is great! The simplicity of it, all that green with that little snake peeking out. It is irresistible. When you post an animal photo, I know that I am in for a treat. I love it!

Nice composition! On first glance, I almost wouldn't have seen the snake, he blends in so well. Thanks for sharing this.
