Good Lord Marietha ... I do believe had this guy opened his mouth you would have taken us right down his throat for a shot of his tonsils :O) I suppose snakes don't have tonsils do they? Anyway ... Can't get much closer than this shot. Great work.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Definitely a throwback to its prehistoric ancestry... look at that snout! It's so cool! I love the taupe colors and opaque framing. Good one!

While I don't really like creepy crawly things and slithering animals :), this has been a great series you've presented along with your writeups. They have all been presented so clearly and in amazing form. Thanks for sharing them with us Marietha. Anita

Oh, such a great image Marietha. The framing is exquisite. Strange to see this snake face to face. Such an alien face. I've enjoyed this series very much - some less, not because of the work you have done, just because some reptiles looked real yucky. You have so much talent in capturing living beings. :)

I found it splendid, the serial of the snakes, thus to see you once more other animals from a another part of the world. Thank you, however, Marietha.
