Marietha - good first moon shot! Um, that didn't sound good, did it? LOL I like the detail your camera picked up - what zoom mm are you using here? This will make a very nice desktop! - Patty
Thanx.. used a 70-300mm sigma lense.. but cant remember the settings.. was just playing around to try out the new camera at night :) thanx for the compliment.
lol at Patty!! Looks really good to me Marietha! and your new camera is doing great as is the operator - it is the same camera I have just bought - when I plugged it into my pc it came up with Canon kiss_n Rebel - which is a wonderful name - I could kiss it cause I love it! lol In the UK we call it Canon EOS 350D. Looking forward to more of your photos. :) Patti

What a great shot Marietha. It looks especially dynamic full screen. Love the colors. Your new camera is doing good but you know it is the operator moreso :) Perfectly wonderful post. Thanks for sharing it.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
So, you got a Canon 350D too, huh? That camera will do quite a lot and has a frustrating learning curve that comes with it free of charge. But, it will be worth the learning.
This is fantastic. I have never seen a moon like that here in the states. I have a feeling that is a view seen only in your part of the world. But, it is a super one.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Canon is reaping a whole lot of FREE good press between you and Pat. Just great images coming from both of you. This one is a "shining" example. Think it's time both of you hit Canon up for a piece of their advertising budget.
So, it's true afterall...the moon IS made of cheese, lol...never seen it quite so orange...cool capture...looking forward to more with your new camera.:Pat.
