A portal to another universe :) very lovely color scheme I enjoy it very much.

This reminds me of fabric - appliqué with patches of different textures, some shiny satins, some rougher or smooth cottons... and then silver and white fabric pens - the sort that have thick chunky ink to create raised patterns. There may be chiffon in this, too. I would guess the creator is experimenting as he or she seems to have gone a little over the top, but maybe this is a very stylised wall hanging, for example...

I like the picture but i think that a clear version would be so much more stunning. I like the fuzzy effect but if you build a clear and sharp version you will deffinately earn my background... if you cant dot feel bad i probably couldnt either lol GL MAN!

Well, first of all the color combination here works very well, because if it didn't I personally don't feel it would work at all...I agree with margali, except that we part ways where the words "...I would guess the creator is experimenting....gone a little over the top..." I don't see it that way at all....I love the lush presentation and I wish there were more like it around. I think that sometimes people are too timid when it comes to experimentation, especially those, like you, Russell, who know how to create this sort of image...the wilder the better..wow..must be the weekend..lol :)

Quite a lovely design. Looks like some silky material with crystal sparkles. The low key colours are marvelous and work well together. You created a fine work Russell :))
