Ouch ouch...hot, hot. You are right...that is HOT pink. But...I don't think it's too much. Very nice detail in the Rhodah.....Roada.......flower. Nice, Carissa.
This may be one to try backed-off a bit and then zoom in on the flora to create a creamy backdrop. As far as the brightness, you could try "PhotoFiltre", it's a free program similar to Photoshop. It has a gamma adjustment which I find very helpful!! If ya don't have PhotoFiltre and need it let me know as I could send ya a link to it.
A NOTE TO ALL MY FRIENDS: I WILL BE COMMENTING LESS ON PEOPLE IN MY “FRIENDS” LIST SO AS TO MAKE TIME FOR VIEWING ALL “NEW IMAGES” AND ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE OF WHOM I MAY NOT KNOW OR ARE NEW TO THE SITE. I WILL STILL VIEW EVERY IMAGE OF MY FRIENDS AND STILL COMMENT ON SOME IF I CAN GIVE A GOOD CRITIQUE OR MENTION WHAT I LIKE OR FEEL IS REALLY WORKIN’ WELL IN THE IMAGE. AS FAR AS MY IMAGES IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE AN IMAGE I REALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SO AS TO LEARN AND BETTER MYSELF.
Joanie is right on both counts. I have used photofiltre and it is a good free software. I love the pink in this one. I have the same problem with trying to get details on white flowers. This is very nice Carissa.
