I got this shot from the airplane on our descent into Seattle. We had to circle due to a back-up at the airport, so I got some shots of the sunset and the mountains. This was one of the best, and I apologize for the engine in the picture. I'm not a Photoshop pro so I had no idea how to remove it and to crop it would have made the picture look wrong to me. I hope you enjoy it and thanks so much for your comments!

Wow..that's gorgeous. I would have loved to see that from the plane. You can see the curvature of the Earth, too. Excellent shot, Carissa.

So that's what it looks like from high above...neat!! Perhaps a little re-touchin' in a photo editor to correct the horizontal line and clean up some grain??

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Very nice view and sunset, the photo is rather very good and don't worry about the engine, also if you have a photo editor then you can level the horizon line.

Looks good to me Carissa. I remember when I first came to this site, I didn't have any idea how to do cloning or anything else for that matter. The people on here are so nice and when they offer to help, let them. It is a great place to learn. Your photo is really good. Love the Mt. and the sunset.

wow that is a cool view, the colours are fabulous, they usually are from a plane, shame you can only take shots through 2 layers of thick glass with ice on them, if i was a plane designer id design a photography spot thats for sure! lol.
