Took this a while ago, I liked the sharpness and contrast of the flowers against the dark background. The only thing I didn't like was the flower at the top, but I didn't want to crop it anymore than I did. So tell me what you think, and I hope you like it :-)

Too Beautiful for words Carissa. The Sharpness you mention is Perfect. Flower at the Top is fine ..it doesnt make it look like an artificial presentation. It Looks so Natural and the Colour is out of this world.. so smooth....Jack

Fantastic capture Carissa. The detail is amazing as well as the contrast in colors. Rhododendrons are such lovely flowers too. I think you made a good decision in not cropping out the upper left flower as it gives the image a little more depth. Very well done.

It's nice. Perhaps a more crop 'n' chop and then frame it up somehow could produce a more pleasing result for the viewer and for the desktop wallpaper lover in all of us??

Giv'er a go and see whatcha think. Just keep these poppin' beauties a comin'!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

As you know I've posted some rhododendron pictures myself but this beats mine. It is gorgeous. The colour is so rich and the flower looks perfect. If you didn't want to crop any more why not clone the offending flower out?

Beautiful Carissa and the centers of the flowers look like little candelabras. Love the color. The top flower looks fine. Nice post.
