I love lavender! I really like the effect the sun has on the petals here, and I can almost smell it. Lovely shot.

This is really eye catching Carissa. It will make a great desktop. Lavendar flowers are among my favorites. Nice photo and editing.

Oo-la-la, that's nice!! A wee bright, perhaps a drop or three in the gamma and a wee little frame instead of just a crop 'n' chop and plop onto a new canvas?? Zat make sense?? Beautiful colors and blurred backdrop workin'!!

Beautiful lavender colors the flowers are displaying. I agree with Randy ... there are some bright spots, but they can be easily corrected. Carissa ... a lovely summer image & superbly captured.

This is a lovely shot of a lovely flower. We've been to Provence and there are lavender fields everywhere. They are a great sight and smell!
I have to agree with a couple of people above in that I find the bright spots a bit distracting but that's personal preference.
