This is a very nice portrait! Pigeons are so maligned that we rarely stop and take the time to see how lovely and colorful they really are (okay, so I hate it when they relieve themselves on my car, too!). They're tough little survivors, among other things and you've got to admire them for that. Thanks for posting this one, I really like it.

I love the feeling that this survivor is sitting smack on my desk. I loved trying to pet one at the Mall in DC. They knew just how far to move to be out of reach of over-eager tourists.--Romeo
