There is nothing easy about taking underwater pictures! Some image editing will help this photo quite a bit -- first, noise reduction (NeatImage or Noiseware or NoiseNinja); then, increasing the black level and boosting the color saturation (easily done with a free program called XnView, among others).
Yes, it is hard to get an nice image in 60 ft depth. I know it, i am a diver too. Next take a big light to get more red colors, but don't use it with much plancton. Best UW-pics you get in a night dive with a small distance to the object. But much easier is it to recolor.
