Truly amazing John. The clarity and expression on him are enough to make one speechless. I love your writeup as well...you always bring a smile :) Thanks.
Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
Marvelous John! I wonder how long you had to wait to catch him/her in this pose. Perhaps this is the same bird as in the last photo. He/She may have taken a liking to you. Equipped with GPS and orders not to drop "anything" on the White House or Capitol Hill.

An excellent capture John & I love your narration. A fantastic pose the bird is displaying & just gotta love that surprised expression. Very nicely done.
This reminds me of the song "Wing Beneath My Wings". But, do you think he feels more secure now? He is such a variety of lovely colors and this is such a beautiful capture. A favorite!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Great capture of the bird. I love the title and your sense of humor. The bird's pose is comical. he does appear that he is guarding something. Nice capture.
