That's the kind of bird I want to find - one which patiently waits! Wonderful shot with great clarity - also well presented.

You've absolutely done it again! Taken one of the most perfect shots of a Blue Jay that I have ever seen! The clarity is phenomenal! I would love to be able to catch a Blue Jay or a Cardinal as wonderfully as you have captured this beautiful, smart mouthed fellow!

Love those "stained glass" wings. Although they can be a pain in the you-know-what, I still love the colors on these birds, and it doesn't get much better when it comes to clarity!

Hey John...NOW who'se the "muggsy" eh??!!! I love it. Oh my, this bloo birdie is just awesome. But that's not only because he looks like such a "bright fellow" but YOU the photographer is the true smarty!! I wonder how I missed this posting?! His feather colours are more magnificent then I ever knew. But then, I've not seen a Bluejay this close either.I love the different shades of bloo on him. Here in Oregon they like to be heard more than seen. They seem to love waking me up in the mornings..very loud and clear. John, you have 'the touch' when it comes to these photos. I have your little "sparrow"(not sure what it is) on my desktop right now, he is ever so precious sitting there greeting me as tho he is saying "g'morning and it will be, just wait and see' Thank you John for your new birdie photos, I love them dearly. And I hope you are doing very well nowadays...Verena
