... Makes Me Happy !

Titled from an old John Denver song that immediately popped into my head when this picture came on screen. Decided to leave the spiders silk thread in the image after spending too much time making the decision. I finally admitted to myself ... we're not talking the Mona Lisa here. :) I'm avoiding identifying the bird because frankly I find the Sparrow family quite difficult to identify ... my best guess is an immature Chipping Sparrow.

Another beautiful bird picture, John. I like the way it is sitting on the branch, and turning around to see you take the shot of him...or her. Excellent photography, as usual.

Boy, it's a beauty, John! I'm glad you left the spider web remnant. It makes this shot a more perfect representation of what you saw and are now showing us. Gorgeous nature shot with wonderful background colors and dof. Wish I could reach out and rub his little back. lol

Howdy Muggsy me darlin,
I like the spider web in it. Lends authenticity. Great birdie capture. Love the blurred out background.

Great detail on this one John. These are all over my feeder now, also saw a junco and chickadee yesterday. I think it is a chipping sparrow.

I am always somuch in awe with the colorful bird postings here at caedes, wishing we had such birds overhere in the wild :-(
But you thought me a wize lesson. How ever dull the bird color might be, there is always a shot there, if only... we take notice.., and take the time to bother...I am very familiar with this city bird and know many of their facial expressions, because i share my lunch with them on a daily basis for years now. Thank you for sharing your skillfull bird images here John, since they are ALL textbook material. Although i fail to reply to most of them, (since i can not express my feelings to well in another language than my own). Just be sure that i saw them all with such great pleasure.

Hans.
