I fear I've become too predictable in what I post here at Caedes. Birds, birds and more birds.

Not wishing to be labeled a single subject bore ... I offer a dramatic departure into the genre of Still Life Photography. *Drum roll please*

I've titled it ... "SUNFLOWER SEED".

A great shot of the sunflower seed John. It looks like it has that bird by the beak. Fantastic colour and detail. I never tire

This does look somewhat like a painting, keep posting birds, birds and more birds, we will be know as the bird brothers. Someone already called us the blues brothers after our blue jay posts. Are those fall colors in the background? Great post.

Birds are such wonderful subjects to photograph. If a birdwatcher gets excited when they spot one in their binoculars, how much more exciting to capture its image for posterity and to share with others. That is a really fine sunflower seed you have captured here, John, and the birds really fine too!

heheh great clarity on the bird...and you made me laugh about the sunflower seed too!! you are and always will be known for birds, so calling it sunflower seed makes no difference!! hehehe

Now that's a mouth full friend!! Again, sorry...but, there seems to be some grain / noise workin' it's wonders in the piece. Perhaps a true manip of this beauty?? The colorings are workin' better on this one than a prior as the prior seemed kinda purple to me. Whould luv to see the original, from camera on this fanciful flier. If ya want.

The chickadee is my fav of the songbirds!!

Hey, birds TOTALLY works!! We luv your bird shots!!
