A creek that runs into the Hillsborough river. This is one of the few that hasn't dried up. We are in a Phase III drough (extreme) water shortage. The water level at the river is very low and most of the ponds and creeks are totally dried up. ==Panasonic DMC FZ18==

Something tells me this might not be the best place to go swimming. :)

Looks like a very isolated area, but a pleasant one. I'm enjoying the shadow play on the creek. Wonderful capture Ed.

A nice capture, but as already stated, might not be the best place for a swim. I like the contrasting colours in this one. Lyn.

I see you made your way back to the river from the forest. I hope you found another bench to rest on. LOL. Nice shot again, Ed. You are lucky to have nice weather year round.

First the economy and now a drought Huck. Looks like Florida is in for a rough road. That is not even counting Hurricanes.

Excellent shot.

I guess you do have a shortage of water. Can I send you some snow? Actually, I remember days in Spring that looked a lot like this with shallower than normal stream and rivers. Gives you a chance to explore where you might at another time not be able to go. I like the shade and sun in this shot.

I didn't know your area was so dry... Too bad the places that are flooding can't send a little your way. There does seem to be a little bit of green in the small clearing you photographed. I'm guessing that where the plants are in the foreground used to be underwater...
