There was something large moving around in the brush, so this was as close as i was getting to the lake. I really don't like suprises when it comes to gators or wild hogs. ==Panasonic DMC FZ18== Have A Great SUPERBOWL SUNDAY Everyone

After reading your narrative that just adds even more to this excellent and rathy creepy feeling of this wonderous image. I really like this one!! Eerie is another word that comes to mind, eerie and yet beautiful. =^..^= sandi ♪

Mysterious and eerie! A wonderful capture of the mossy tree silhouettes with a peek beyond at the water. Love this one Ed! Glad you got out of there before you found out what was movin'around. :)Ami

This is one of your best pictures of the lake. I love the view through the darkened trees, yet they are not TOO dark. Fantastic picture, Ed. Watch out for Swamp Thing, too.

Seems like the land of the lost or is that the land before time... nope I see man made buildings through the jungle. Full of atmosphere I would halted there too! Wonderful image through the trees. Love all that moss!

I love this Ed ... does have an eerie feel to it. The partially silhouetted trees in the forground makes one stop & think ... should I venture any further? Love the lake beyond the trees. Great colors & depth. Excellent work on the comp + faves.

From the darkness to the light. I like your perspective, sort of like looking out from behind closed doors where no one can see you, but you can see everything that is going on. It is a moody image. Nicely done, Ed.

Talk about your atmospheric image... it appears to drip with southern atmosphere, and your narrative makes it spooky... The clarity is wonderful, I like the glimpse of the lake and what appears to be a cabana... the feeling I get is, If I can get through the deep dark woods and reach the cabana I'll be safe... but from what?
