Wow! Apparently that was a canon pointed at the bridge. I'm glad it wasn't loaded. Well! i'm off to find someone in charge of this place. (To be Continued) I couldn't decide whether to post the sepia or color version. so maybe i'll do both.

Good thing the cannon wasn't loaded. I like the image in sepia to give it a look from an earlier era. Personally I would have bumped up the contrast some to bring out the cannon more. Great angle & detail. I'd like to see the colored version as well. Fantastic capture Ed.

The sepia version gives the viewer the idea Ed that this is a very old image. The cannon is enhancing this idea. Think the coloured version will bring the people back to the today's reality. I'm however curious to see it as well.
Thanks for another contribution to this wonderful series my friend.

Just wonderful, Ed. I think the sepia is just perfect for the fort. Makes it look like it would have when it was photographed in the mid 1800s. Wonderful clarity too.

Looks great in sepia. Adds to the nostalgic dated fort. I like the contrasting textures and the pines in the distance.
