Well! I didn't expect to find Lassie guarding a soldiers gear. This seems more of a Rin Tin Tin type of setting.

Soon there will be some Rin Van Collies running about Huck. Nice scene and it really shows a lot of the camp. They must be over at the mess hall. Must be an officers tent. The bed is unmade.

Think Fort Foster is in a very low state of alert, as the riffles lay, only protected by a Lassie, on the table. Suppose they have a great confidence in you Ed, lol.
Another fine contribution to this wonderful series my friend!

That looks just like my dog, Sean, that I had back in the seventies and eighties. I love collies. But where is Rin Tin Tin? LOL. Nice shot again in the fort series.

But hey, Lassie could be a real winner in a tight spot too, she was always getting her first owner, Jeff, out of trouble... as I recall. I love all the details in this image.

How quaint Ed...and unrealistic no one in Florida will camp outdoors without mosquito netting..a man would be eaten alive in 5 minutes..but it is a cute scene!
