While working in the jungle growing outside my yard. I found this Pineapple sitting there all alone. It apparently escaped from my neighbors Pineapple patch a couple of hundred feet away. I told him he could come and get it any time and put it back with it's friends. I don't really care for Pineapple. After getting stabbed multiple times and losing lots of blood getting this closeup. I even care less for them now. Have a great Weekend

Does a Bloomin' Pineapple taste anything like a Bloomin' Onion? I never seen a red one before, good closeup of all the sharp spines

Very tropical jungle you have so near! I like them, but only in very small doses. I didn't realize they started out so vibrant. All those gators and you wind up with wounds from fruit! : ) Makes a vivid luscious photo.

The comment of Elizabeth made me smile Ed. You've survived battles and all kind of gators and snakes, but a simple (not because of it's wonderful colour) and lost pineapple plant was almost threathening your life, lol.
Very fine and colouful post my friend, love the deep tones in it.

I hope the color isn't from all your blood loss Huck. I hear most people get porcupines to pick their pineapples. I had this in voting booth and gave it high marks because it really is a great shot. I suppose they will use the juice from this for Gatorade. Nice post.

That looks like a strawberry pineapple. Is it a cross breed? LOL. Very nice close up of that finger sticker.

I think it was worth the effort too, I never saw a new pineapple before or how they grew. You see, you are giving us an education, I think you should keep it and every once in a while take another shot for us. Just wear gloves! Love the color too.
