The Squirrel only has a couple of pieces of fruit to go till he's cleaned out all my trees. Then i guess it's back to stealing food from my Dogs and Cats. If it wasn't for this guy being friends with my Dog Gizmo. He wouldn't be eating my fruit. My camera isn't the only thing that had a clear shot at him.

Beautiful shot of the squirrel in action, Ed. Good clarity and a great location too. Let the chap have his fruit as a reward.

Ed...you didn't? You didn't get a shot at him with the hunting rifle, did you? If you did, I'm glad you got this one first. I wouldn't want to see the AFTER shot. LOL.

Although it's a rascal, you have to shoot it only with your camera Ed.
Excellent post (again) my friend!

I wish these guys would go out and get a job! They really are into thievery. lol I lost all my tulip bulbs to them this winter. I think I'd cry if they ate all my oranges (if I had an orange tree). I know what you must feel, Ed. Why don't you get your dog a companion and then.....oh, never mind....It's a great shot of the scamp eating your almost last orange though!

Fun narrative. Sweet details on the squirrel. Must be a population explosion. I've seen hundreds lately.

You wouldn't shoot a harmless little ol' squirrel, would ya. He enjoyes your oranges so much. Great 'shot'.

I bet Gizmo would like him even better with some squirrel gravy and mashed potatoes. Nice shot Huck. I am surprised you had any oranges at all. I figured the frost and drought did them in.

I hear ya Ed, we have a lot of squirrels here, and the only thing they are good for is making a mess in my back yard! I do have to say it's a very good shot of the rat.

You mean he single-handedly, I mean pawedly, polished off the fruit on the entire tree?? My word, he should be big as a house by now... My father used to lurk behind the window curtains with an air gun, trying to scare the squirrels away from his large birdfeeder... never worked. The little bandits can clear out a feeder in about 2 hours... or less... Good shot of this one!
